Submit Manuscript
Annals of Surgery (ANNALSOPEN) welcomes high-quality original research, clinical studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, technical innovations, and other scholarly contributions across surgery and related medical disciplines.
Authors may submit their manuscripts directly by email to submission@aosopen.com. Authors who prefer to use the online submission system may submit their manuscript through the link below. Online submission requires authors to register for an account before completing the submission process.
Manuscript Submission & Processing
Following successful submission, a manuscript identification number will be assigned to the corresponding author or the email address provided with the submission. The manuscript number will generally be communicated within 72 hours of receiving the manuscript.
